Desert Stars Print

Elderly Gila monster sweethearts lounge on agave lounges under a desert night sky. In this scene they reminisce about a moonlit gathering while lounging among cholla, bahia and daisy-like desert star blossoms.

A raven calls from the ironwood tree and dust devils whirl across the flats, reminding us that predator and prey can coexist under the same desert moon. The print's reverse tells their tale and names each of the flowers hidden in the painting.
