On a whimsical scavenger hunt, a footloose armadillo and a pocket mouse collect an assortment of wild treasures along roadsides and creeks. Their haul includes Texas ebony, bluebonnets, acacia, blanket flowers, bluebells, oak galls, cactus fruits and snake skins.

The mouse fashions a pinkie ring from a scorpion tail, pokes a tiny bone through his ear and even slips in a plastic cowboy and a shiny red piece from a 1958 Chevy Impala.
