Moon and Stars

Under the rising moon a mule deer dazzles the crowd. Held together by lacy cactus fiber, her hat glows with scented blooms of sacred datura and evening primrose, accented with curls of scorpion tails.

Mesquite pods and snake rattles dangle as she moves, and she entwines her throat with dangerously sharp devil's-claws and datura seed pods to deter jealous cats.
