At dusk, another vain feline padded silently into the gathering. The cougar was breathtaking in a large, fragrant flower of a Night-Blooming Cereus with golden coils of scorpion tails and twinkling cholla blossoms. Sphinx Moths approached the ghostly-white flower to gather its pollen. She believed that her ensemble would outshine the others, capturing the award without her resorting to her usual tactics.
