Sunny
Sunny
Sunny isn't what you expect from a black–and–white nocturnal skunk, but one afternoon she couldn't resist the autumn glow of a grape arbor. She plucked a big grape leaf, spotted a vivid jay feather and multi–hued juniper berries.
Her chipmunk friend helped gather oak galls, dried Arizona cudweed, willow leaves and a raven feather, then wove them into a golden necklace and tiara using vine tendrils.
Printed on 14 pt gloss stock and blank inside, this card arrives with envelope and sleeve.
This 5 × 7 card is blank inside for your personal message.

Story on the back
"Why are you called Sunny?” inquire the animals. "I do have a night life, and sleep by day in my den,” the skunk tells them. "But one autumn afternoon I ventured out. The lemony glow of a grape arbor made me blink. I plucked a leaf. Then I found a jay feather in breathtaking blue, and multi-hued juniper berries! A chipmunk who had been watching asked to join me. Together, we discovered more colored treasures, the dried blooms of Arizona cudweed, an orange oak gall, a willow leaf in purest yellow, and a raven feather. He used vine tendrils to weave them into a necklace and golden tiara. So he named me Sunny.”
